Proof Approval & Responsibility

Clients are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully prior to final approval. Proofs are provided at the exact size and format in which materials will be printed or delivered.

Once final approval is received, Legend & Ko. is not responsible for errors including, but not limited to, spelling, grammar, layout, wrong size or artwork changes. Approval confirms acceptance of all content, design, and specifications as presented..

Payment Terms

For major design projects, a deposit is required prior to the start of any design work. Design services and project scheduling will not begin until the required deposit has been received and cleared. Project timelines and placement within our schedule are dependent on the date payment is received.

All remaining balances must be paid in full prior to release to production. Delays in payment may result in adjusted timelines or rescheduling based on current availability.

For print and direct mail projects, payment in full is required prior to release to production. Production will not begin until payment has been received and cleared. All print and mail projects must adhere to confirmed production lead times, including any rush requirements or holiday schedules, as outlined by your account manager.

Any balances not paid when due may be subject to a late payment charge of 5% per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law, until paid in full.

Mailing & USPS Disclaimer

For direct mail services, Legend & Ko.’s responsibility ends once materials are submitted to the United States Postal Service (USPS). Legend & Ko. is not responsible for USPS delays, delivery timing, lost mail, or delivery performance, as we are not a government entity.

Estimated in-home delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Revisions & Communication

All revision requests must be submitted in writing via email. Verbal requests or changes communicated through phone calls, text messages, or third-party platforms are not considered valid. We do not provide live edits of any kind.

Production Lead Times

Production timelines are discussed and confirmed with your account manager at the time of ordering. Lead times are estimates and may vary based on project scope, revisions, volume, vendor capacity, seasonal demand, and holiday schedules.

Any orders placed or approved after 2:00 PM (CST) on Wednesdays may not be eligible for standard turnaround timelines and may require a rush production fee to meet desired end of week dates. Rush availability is not guaranteed and is subject to production capacity for a fee.

Clients are responsible for understanding and accounting for production lead times, rush requirements, and holiday closures when approving artwork and submitting orders.

Accessibility Statement

Legend & Ko. is a business-to-business creative studio committed to providing a website experience that is accessible and usable for all visitors.

While our services are offered exclusively to business clients and our website is informational in nature, we strive to follow generally recognized accessibility best practices and aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where reasonably possible.

Holiday Closures

Legend & Ko. observes all federal and banking holidays, in addition to any scheduled studio closures. Holiday hours and closure dates are communicated via email signatures and direct correspondence.

Production timelines, approvals, and delivery dates may be affected by these observed holidays. Clients are responsible for reviewing holiday schedules and accounting for non-business days when planning project timelines and approvals.

Limitation of Liability & Right to Refuse Service

Legend & Ko. shall not be held liable for delays, errors, losses, or damages arising from late approvals, delayed payments, inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client, third-party vendors, shipping carriers, mail services, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

In no event shall Legend & Ko.’s liability exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

Legend & Ko. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse service or discontinue services at any time, including but not limited to situations involving non-payment, misuse of services, abusive or inappropriate conduct, violation of these Terms & Conditions, or requests that fall outside of our business practices or ethical standards. In such cases, any completed work will be billed accordingly.

Privacy Policy

Legend & Ko. may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including but not limited to your name, email address, company name, phone number, and any information submitted through contact forms, email inquiries, or direct communication.

We may also collect limited, non-personal information automatically, such as browser type, device information, and website usage data, through standard analytics tools.

Legend & Ko. does not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to:

Provide services requested by the client
Comply with legal obligations
Work with trusted vendors or service providers involved in project fulfillment (such as web developers or mailing services)

These third parties are only provided information necessary to perform their services.

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
